Create a page, start writing, and give Arro context for your work. Pages are on every plan, for every member. How many a workspace holds is on Plan limits.

What a page is

A page is a document in your library: an account brief, an escalation policy, a decision, a definition. Choose New page, enter a name, and click Create page. The editor starts with that name as its first heading and a blank paragraph below. See Creating files for where new pages are saved. Click the title to rename the file later. Your changes save automatically. A page lives in a folder, in Private or Team Library, and is shared, moved, and deleted like any other file. A deleted page sits in Trash for 30 days. Someone with view access sees View only and cannot edit. Arro uses your existing page permissions when you ask it to help. New pages are in the knowledge base automatically, including private pages. You can change membership in Page details or the page’s library menu. Page details shows optional Summary and Tags, with Activity and links in expandable sections. Open the tag picker to add or remove tags. Type a new name and choose Create to add a tag. You can write a page without filling out any of these details. Type [[ in a page or a playbook to link to a page, and the pill opens it. @ lists pages too, alongside the plugins and fields a playbook can reference, though it offers only the pages already loaded. [[ searches all of them. Linked from in Page details lists what links here, pages and playbooks alike. A link to a page that already exists follows that page. Rename the page and every link keeps working and starts showing the new title. Move the page to the trash and the link still opens it, landing on This page is in the trash with Restore. Two pages can carry the same title. Both pickers offer each of them on its own row, labelled with where it lives, and the row you pick is the page the link opens. A link to a page nobody has written yet stays a title link: it renders dashed, is listed under Links in Page details with a Create button, and lights up on its own once someone writes that page.

Ask Arro about what you highlighted

Highlight some text and click Ask Arro in the toolbar. Type what you want (“make this clearer”) and press Enter. The Arro panel opens with your question and the highlighted text attached. Arro edits what you highlighted, not the whole page. A highlight inside one heading, paragraph or list item is rewritten in place and keeps its type, so a reworded heading stays a heading. A highlight across several of them replaces each one it covers. The edit pauses for approval like any other rewrite, and the card shows the replacement text before you accept it. If you keep talking (“shorter still”), Arro stays on the same highlighted text. That holds until you ask about something else, leave the page, or clear the conversation. If the text changed since you highlighted it, Arro says so and asks you to highlight it again. Cmd/Ctrl + J and right-click do the same for whole paragraphs.

The summary line

An optional summary under Page details describes the page in 160 characters or fewer. Arro can use the page’s content when you leave it blank. Optional tags help group related pages. Each page supports 5 tags of up to 100 characters each. Pages above that limit can remove tags.

Limits

Pages have their own shared and private pools, alongside the ones for workflows and task boards, which they do not share headroom with: per seat in Team Library and per member in Private. Creating a page in a full pool is blocked with a message naming the pool, such as “You’ve reached your plan limit of 3 shared pages.” Moving a page between the two follows the same rules as any other file.
